UniCal is a comprehensive calendar system designed to make event announcements in the most effective manner. JAVA-based open-source Bedework software under the Apereo foundation has been developed and made available to our university.

The system consists of 3 main modules:

• Event Management (Module for Creating, Publishing Events)
• Event Request Management (Module for Users to Send Event Requests to Manager)
• Event Report Management (Module for Reporting Events)

The aim is to announce events, provide a url from the UniCal system for event details, provide information and detailed and easy access to the events for students and other users.
